Moving through life transitions with intention
Apr 8, 2026 · 5 min read
New roles, new cities, new seasons of life — transitions ask us to let go of one version of ourselves before the next has fully arrived. That in-between space can feel disorienting even when the change is one we chose.
Grief and possibility can coexist
It is normal to feel loss alongside excitement. Naming what you are leaving behind — a routine, an identity, a certainty — makes room to step into what is next without pretending the old thing did not matter.
Staying grounded when everything shifts
Small anchors help: a morning ritual, a person you check in with, a value you return to when decisions feel overwhelming. Transitions are more manageable when we move through them with intention rather than just bracing for impact.
